About C2HR

What's C2HR all about?

Who's Wishbone Breaker?

Who's Wishbone Breaker?

C2HR is the unauthorized study guide to help new flat track roller derby skating officials, by Wishbone Breaker. Any new official can find a tremendous amount of information here. The audience I kept in mind when writing are the leagues and skater trainers who are responsible for training officials, but feel there isn't comprehensive guides to help their officials advance from beginner to experienced. C2HR offers a suggested sequence of learning and details how the steps in one chapter are built on in the later chapters to help a skating official gain confidence. The book includes valuable quick reference tables and lists to help ensure officials can digest the information and refer to it later.

Who's Wishbone Breaker?

Who's Wishbone Breaker?

Who's Wishbone Breaker?

I started officiating flat track roller derby in 2011 and began hosting officiating clinics in 2013. Throughout that time, I've been a skater, a WFTDA skater rep, interleague coordinator, League Head Ref, Officials Certification Chair, and served on the WFTDA Tournament Oversight Selection Panel. I have officiated more than 700 games and Tournament Headed WFTDA post-season on both sides of the Atlantic.

I would not be where I am today without the continued love and camaraderie of the League of Extraordinary Officials.

Please help fund the proofreading, formatting, and fact checking that remains to be done for this first draft. The unpublished chapters are valuable resources I want to provide to the community. Donating also encourages me to keep working to post the unpublished chapters.

I'm hosting these sample chapters on my personal website. In the least I eventually want to provide the completed edited book in an eBook format that people can download or print using a print-on-demand service. I'd also love to hire a professional editor and graphic designer. I'd love to have live, functional links in the completed book that can link to other resources. Time, money, resources... if you can donate something to help fund all this, please click below and send a few dollars my way.
